Helping the City Out

As the City Assessor is going around looking for residents who register their cars out-of-state (to avoid paying property taxes), it's only fair for everyone to forward their candidates. Here's ours:

This car belongs to a certain prominent businessman who's in tight with our "proven financial manager"...in fact, he sits on our Finance Board, supposedly trying to help the City control its costs and maximize its revenues. This is truly a case of looking in your own backyard first...this car can be seen in the public parking lot across from City Hall. You're welcome, Ann!

(And this has nothing to with my being a Giants fan!)

It's time that Gene Sullivan practiced what he preaches: register your car in WH, and VOLUNTARILY pay your back taxes (with the interests).

Maybe then, we might be able to take you guys seriously,

This is just another example of how a thug-mayor picks his friends to tell us (the regular people) how to handle our own finances.

While Mr. Sullivan was the issue of this blog, the main issue remains:

West Haven Taxpayers are being screwed by these little peccadillos. These "little sins" aren't each enough to warrant our attention or our anger; but when taken as a whole, they add up to a HUGE and wholesale screwing of every taxpayer.
