With all the noise coming from the Democratic party (honestly, are those guys double-pounding the shots at Randall's - or should they?), it would be easy to overlook the other parties.
The Republican Party (yeah, there really is such a thing, at least in name) will hold their endorsement tonight. I thought their endorsements had to be in by the close of business today, but that's someone else's problem.
Word is that besides Jack Lawlor, there's a surprise dark horse in the running. This mystery candidate ran for mayor in the past, and has proven to be a man of honesty and integrity (we can't have that in West Haven! Really!).
Also out in the ozone, A Better Future Party is setting up their slate....and be prepared for some surprises from that direction.
UPDATE - BREAKING NEWS: We just heard there might just be a FOURTH slate in November....with some VEEEEERY EEEENTERESTING names...more as soon as the horse's mouth speaks.
